Privacy, terms, medical disclaimer, and accessibility — plainly stated.

Privacy

We collect the minimum data needed to run the site: basic server logs (IP address, user agent, requested URL), and bookmark / reading-progress state that you choose to save via the in-page toolbar.

We do not sell your data. We do not use third-party ad networks. We use privacy-respecting analytics (self-hosted, cookie-free) solely to understand which articles are read and which search queries fail.

If you save bookmarks or reading progress, those entries are stored in your browser’s localStorage — they never leave your device.

Terms of Use

You may read, share, and cite the content on this site freely. You may not republish full articles without permission, and you may not use the content to train or fine-tune machine-learning models without written permission from editorial@myofascialpain.com.

The site is provided as-is. We make no warranty of uninterrupted availability, and we reserve the right to modify or remove any content at any time.

Medical Disclaimer

The content on this site is for informational and educational purposes only. It is not medical advice and is not a substitute for consultation with a licensed clinician who can examine you and review your history.

If you have severe, unexplained, or rapidly worsening pain, or pain accompanied by fever, weight loss, neurological symptoms, or loss of function, seek medical care promptly.

Information on medications, doses, and protocols reflects the state of published evidence at the time of writing. Always verify current prescribing guidance with your clinician and the product label.

Accessibility

This site targets WCAG 2.2 AA conformance. We use semantic HTML, visible focus indicators, keyboard navigation throughout, and a minimum 4.5:1 contrast ratio for body text.

If you encounter an accessibility barrier, email accessibility@myofascialpain.com with the URL and a description of the issue. We treat these reports as high priority and aim to remediate within two weeks.
